On August 2, Shi Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, met in Chengdu with Jiang Lan, President of the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, along with his accompanying delegation. Focusing on supporting the national major strategies and promoting high-quality development in Sichuan, the two sides discussed and exchanged opinions on deepening practical cooperation in various fields, including further enhancement of innovation platform development, the breakthroughs in core technologies in key fields, the application of sci-tech achievements, talent cultivation, and distinctive educational approaches.
