As of the end of October 2022, 51 enterprises in Sichuan had obtained AEO (authorized economic operator) advanced certification, and the value of trade in goods between them and other countries reached 241.6 billion yuan from January to October, providing important support for the development of the province's foreign trade, according to Chengdu Customs District on November 26. 

"The AEO advanced certified enterprises contribute nearly one-third of Sichuan's import and export value. They are the bellwether and main force in the development of the province's foreign trade," said Chen Hong, Deputy Director of the Enterprise Management and Inspection Division of Chengdu Customs District. 

The AEO Advanced Certification is the highest credit rating possible for international trade enterprises and is recognized by customs officials around the world. With this Green Pass, those enterprises enjoy preferential measures, such as customs simplification, lower inspection rate, and priority for customs clearance, while trading with 48 countries and regions China Customs has achieved AEO mutual recognition with. 

Sichuan Changhong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., one of the national specialized and sophisticated little giant companies that produce novel and unique products, is among those enterprises that obtained AEO advanced certification in 2022. Zeng Tao, Deputy General Manager of the company, said that since becoming an AEO advanced certified enterprise, the average inspection rate of imported and exported goods and the customs clearance fee has been reduced by about 90% and 50% respectively, and the logistics circulation time has been shortened by one-third, which better ensures the delivery time of the company's orders. 

At the same time, AEO advanced certification plays a positive role in stabilizing the industrial and supply chains. Chengdu Customs District provides certification services for the upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain of advanced certified producers, and realizes a new model of "collaborative cultivation of upstream and downstream enterprises" through advanced certified enterprises' follow-up monitoring of their business partners.
